I thought the text to speech would have come a long way since the early 90's. Sounded too much like the old tandy computers from way back when. Wasn't shootin' for no high falutin' chatter either, just some good 'ol boy slang.

New RBC arrangements/directives
by bud2114 ini joined awhile back and haven't posted much - just lurking like many others.
for the past year or so i have been trying my best to fade away sooner rather than later, but the wife and most of our family have decades of involvement in this mess and well, it's difficult.
little by little i have been sowing seeds of doubt and it does seem to be working somewhat.

Interesting. My brother told me a few days ago that the local hall had about 4 or 5 truck/trailer rigs in the parking lot. I said Concert? He said remodel. This hall is less than 10 yrs old and I thought that the penny pinching WT would not be doing an extensive remodel but I guess from what I'm reading on here that I was wrong. I should have known though, if the WT is involved, it's a scam.

Easiest way, and by far the funniest way is to simply request here that your photo be on one of the mags. Whichever one you want too! And with custom captions to boot. There are plenty of folks on here that are quite proficient with photoshop & other requisite tools for pulling off such requests.

Cemeteries; They're not Just for Burying, Anymore.
by prophecor ini live in a metropolitan area.
crime is on a rampage in this city, in fact, we're #1 in the country as far as murders per capita statistic go.
where does one go to find a safe outing for your morning jog, daily walk, or just to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city life?

:::::They're immaculately tended, with beautiful landscaping, ponds, and winding pathways. It would seem a waste to only visit them on sad occasions!:::::
So, like a picnic would be good?? ;) -

NO WAY IN HELL!!!
We were just discussing fear of bridges at work today. I think I'll have to show 'em all this french thingamabridge.
I have been across the Pontchartrain bridge a few times and I HATED IT. At an assembly in San Francisco we had to cross a brige that was barely above the water and I think was about 5 miles long. Hated that one too.
I've pretty much always been afraid of bridges but not morbidly so. Now it's more the fear of having a panic attack sneak up while on this sort of bridge. How bad would that be! -

Massive donations to the WTS
by greendawn inhave any of you or people that you know such as relatives or friends, made a very significant donation to the wts?
by that i mean property, or money in excess of let's say $10 000. .
enriching an already very rich organisation has to be moronic, they are the ones that should be helping the poor among them the proverbial orphans and widows.

I can't remember ever putting anything in a donation box. I'm sure I must have at some point but it could not have been much. Part of it was always being broke but it just felt very strange to me to even walk by a contribution box!
My sister told me that they asked the brothers to "loan" money for some project or other - I don't remember what - and it would be paid back by a designated time. Wouldn't you know, just as that time was approaching they started the guilt trip of "oh how wonderful if you brothers could see it in your hearts to not ask for YOUR money back..." routine. Her dumbass husband gave in and they never saw a penny repaid. Three small kids and they were giving money to a filthy rich organization of beggars.
